Giving back to our communities is an important part of the way we do business at
Pinnacle Anesthesia Consultants.
A key value to Pinnacle is to continue building healthy relationships outside the
company. We are privileged to help do our part in strengthening the local communities
in which our employees and patients live and work. We participate in organizations
such as North Texas Food Bank and Carter Blood Care:
The North Texas Food Bank secures donations of surplus unmarketable,
but wholesome, foods and grocery products for distribution through a network of
charitable organizations dedicated to feeding the hungry in 13 North Texas Counties.
Carter BloodCare is the primary provider of blood components
and transfusion services for approximately 250 Texas health care facilities. These
facilities include our region’s children’s hospitals, central trauma centers, major
cancer centers, and transplant centers.
In addition to our local efforts, our dedication to philanthropy and non-profit
organizations expands globally. Our doctors participate in programs such as Doctors
Without Borders, Make-A-Wish Foundation® and Operation Smile.
Doctors Without Borders is an independent international
medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected
by armed conflict, epidemics, natural or man-made disasters, or exclusion from healthcare
in more than 70 countries.
Make-A-Wish Foundation® grants wishes of children with life-threatening
medical conditions.
Operation Smile volunteers repair childhood facial deformities
while building public and private partnerships that advocate for sustainable healthcare
systems for children and families.
